PFAS

The Oaktree recognizes the importance of testing for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). PFAS are persistent, toxic chemicals that can have detrimental effects on human health and the environment. By conducting thorough testing, The Oaktree aims to identify and assess the presence of PFAS in various contexts, such as water, Biochar, Ash. and all other products. Testing for PFAS is crucial in promoting public health, ensuring environmental sustainability, and advocating for responsible practices that prioritize the well-being of all.

The Oaktree has developed a continuous testing methodology for biochar and ash. Our equipment is validated annually by a third-party laboratory.

The water is filtered to ensure that there is no PFAS in our algae, or in the drinking water that The Oaktree distributes internally, as well as externally.
